To program, the unit must be in unlock mode or the programming will not take. Installed batteries are not tested for battery life they are simply working. Turn the ignition switch from off to on times and leave in the on position some are new and some are used. I f the transmitter memory is exceeded, the security system will start deleting transmitters from memory in chronological order.
Note the control module will only retain the last 4 remote transmitters programmed. Press and hold any button on the transmitter until 1 chirp from the horn and 1 flash from the parking lights confirming the first transmitter is now programmed.
Within 15 seconds, push the valet program switch 3 times and on the 3rd push hold it in until a long chirp from horn then release the valet program switch. Programming a new transmitter before doing any programming, make sure the module is in unlock mode, even if you choose not to connect up the keyless entry section of this unit.
All remotes sold on keyless4u include working batteries.
