The color of the circuit board red or green makes no difference.

Circuit board is marked to prevent swapping of non working board. One 1 used oem original keyless entry remote. Please verify that the remote you are replacing has the same frequency and markings on the back of the circuit board.

If the label on the back of the remote is gone, open the case and look on the back of the circuit board. If you are going to use the existing case, I would recommend putting a piece of electrical tape around the outside edge to hold the halves together. Brand new batteries are included.

This remote's frequency is p1239. Does not effect functionality. Again this does not effect the functionality of the unit. Check compatibility list.

Remote was tested and is verified to be broadcasting an RF signal. The silver disk next to battery indicates the frequency see picture. Also the key chain loop was damaged but has been repaired with industrial glue.

N o e case has a crack in one corner see picture and causes the case halves to separate. The dealer will charge you 75 to program the remote which only takes about 5 Min's. New key fob from dealer is single button.

This remote was from a 1995 range Rover, but this remote will work for a discovery 1 of that same year.
